You’ve provisionally booked your trip and our team will now work on confirming the accommodations and other elements of your tour once our accommodations partners open their booking windows.
Many of the places you'll stay on our trips are small, independent hotels and guesthouses.
This means they typically release their availability a number of months before travel.
Because of this, bookings for future departures are confirmed in stages, as soon as our accommodations partners open their booking windows.
In the meantime, your booking is being actively monitored by our team, and we’ll contact you as soon as we begin confirming your trip.

Step 1: We provisionally book your place on the trip
You’ve booked your tour and paid your deposit. We’ve created a provisional booking for your trip and sent you a provisional booking confirmation. Your booking is now queued for confirmation once accommodation suppliers open their booking windows.
Step 2: We monitor accommodation suppliers
Our accommodation partners release availability at different times throughout the year. Our team keeps track of these ‘availability to book’ windows so we know exactly when we can begin confirming bookings.
Step 3: We begin confirming your trip
Once supplier booking windows open, our team starts confirming the accommodation and other elements of your trip. We typically work through bookings in departure order, confirming each component as availability becomes available.
Step 4: We confirm your trip in full
Once all elements of your trip have been secured, we’ll send you your full booking confirmation. At that point, your trip moves into our standard preparation journey and you’ll begin receiving your itinerary and pre-travel updates.
When will my trip be confirmed?
Most tours are confirmed around 6–10 months before departure, depending on when accommodations partners release their availability.
