Grade & Terrain
This trip is considered Moderate to Strenuous. Distances vary each day but you can expect a lot of hills, through the wild and exciting terrain. On the longer riding days, enjoy the support of a private van that can pick you up and finish your route with a transfer to shorten any days if you prefer. This trip includes both cycling and a day hike in Gros Morne, however, if you prefer, you can skip this hike as it's a loop hike starting and ending in the same accommodation. This route follows a combination of coastal and rural roads.Accommodation Information
One of the highlights of this tour is the high standard of accommodation. You will stay in carefully selected 3* small hotels. Your room will always have an ensuite or private bathroom. A delicious breakfast is also included.
Group Minimum
You must book with at least four people.
Single Rooms
If you require single rooms within your party we will always try and accommodate you subject to availability. A single supplement is payable. This trip is not available to solo cyclists as there is a minimum of 4 cyclists needed to book.
Meals
A hearty breakfast is included each morning. Lunches and dinners are not included so you are free to choose from the surrounding options. Dinner is available either at your accommodation or at nearby restaurants.

When To Go
This trip is available between July 1st and September 15th. You can start on any date subject to availability. Newfoundland is a popular destination with limited lodging capacity, so it is best to book as far in advance as you are able. The best months to visit are anytime between July and September!Baggage Transfer
Baggage transfer is included in the cost of your holiday. We ask you to limit your luggage to one bag of up to 20 kg per person.
Equipment
Our pre-departure information pack has detailed advice on what to bring. Please be prepared by packing all necessary items, including rain gear, sunscreen, and appropriate cycling clothing, as the weather can vary greatly. If you have any questions, we would be happy to share our tips and advice. Please limit your baggage to 1 bag per person of no more than 50 lbs / 20 kg. Your bag will be transported between your inns.
Bike Rental
Hire of a Trek FX2 Hybrid bike, helmet, lock, waterproof bag, flat repair kit, water bottle cage, and first aid kit are included in the trip cost. Please supply us with your height for your bicycle rental so we can make sure your bike is the perfect fit. E-bikes are also available should you want a little extra assistance to help you along the way. We can also upgrade you to either a Road Bike if you prefer. These are subject to availability and require a supplementary payment.
Travel Insurance
It is a requirement of booking this tour with Macs Adventure that you have suitable travel insurance that covers you for the activity and emergency evacuation and hospital care.
