Macs Adventure are delighted to partner with the Hebridean Baker, Coinneach MacLeod, who will be joining us in championing self-guided as the best way to travel. He has a particular passion for sustainable and slow travel, which makes Coinneach the perfect advocate for our Slower Adventures. These trips allow you to experience the beautiful walks or biking trails of the world but slows down the pace and immerses you in the local culture, history and, of course, native delicacies!
Coinneach was born and raised on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. He’s become synonymous with the outdoors and adventure since he started posting videos of his homeland.
He’s been Scotland’s best-selling cookbook author for the past two years and his online videos have inspired millions around the world to bake, visit Scotland, learn Gaelic, enjoy a dram or two of whisky and seek a more wholesome, simple life. Coinneach, who has featured on BBC’s The Travel Show, aims to bring the best of Scotland to a worldwide audience.
Coinneach’s role as Global Brand Ambassador for Macs Adventure aims to educate and inspire others to learn about what self-guided travel is, whilst highlighting the importance of responsible travel and the health benefits associated with being in the outdoors.
