Which Alta Via 1 Itinerary is For me?
Alta Via 1 Complete: An 11 day tour, with 9 days of hiking. A challenging hike, best for experienced and sure-footed hikers with a head for heights. Stay communally in mountain huts, hiking with your full pack as bag transfers are not possible.Â

Which Alta Via 1 Itinerary is For me?
Alta Via 1 Complete (Extended): A 14 day tour, with 11 days hiking. Expect some shorter trails and days, and a rest day in Cortina. Overall the hiking is less strenuous though still challenging and with a full pack, best for experienced hikers.

Which Alta Via 1 Itinerary is For me?
Alta Via 1 Classic The ‘classic’ part of the AV1, hiked over 8 days, taking in the highlights and staying in communal huts. Finish before the path gets wilder and more remote towards Passo Duran. Shorter, but still tough, and hiked with a full pack.

Alta Via 1 North: Hike the popular but still challenging northern half of the Alta Via 1 in just 6 days, enjoying the camaraderie of comfortable huts. Hiked with a full pack, this is half-way version of the Alta Via 1 is meant to be combined with the South itinerary over 2 or more seasons.

Alta Via 1 South: Hike the southern half of the Alta Via 1 is wilder and more remote than the busier northern section. With slightly longer days, this the ideal choice for fit and experienced hikers. Hike 6 days, with a full pack and stay in communal huts.
