Walk some of the most beautiful sections of the Cami de Cavalls, the Horse Trail, which encircles the island of Menorca and takes you along beautiful sandy beaches and historical paths. Dating back to the 14th century, the trail was originally used to patrol the coast on horseback and defend the island. Classed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, this Balearic Island boasts a varied and wild landscape, hidden coves with crystal clear water, green hills and pine tree forests. The walks are relatively easy going, giving you plenty of time to soak up the views, spot wildlife or take a break for a dip in the sea. Spending a few nights in each comfortable accommodation, you also have time to explore the pretty towns and villages of the island, such as Fornells and Ciutadella to savour the delicious local food.
This tour offers easy to moderate walks around the coastline of Menorca and covers the most beautiful and interesting sections of the Cami de Cavalls. Short transfers are included to get to and from the trailhead. At the end of each walk, relax in your welcoming hotel or guesthouse and enjoy the laid-back island lifestyle.
